iRemember Terms of Service

LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 22, 2026

Everything you save stays on this device only. iRemember does not sync your vault to cloud storage. You are responsible for backing up your data; uninstalling the app or deleting your account permanently removes it.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using iRemember (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

iRemember is a personal organization app that helps you store and retrieve information about everyday items, credentials, documents, contacts, and Wi-Fi networks. Sign-in is handled on-device, with an option to sign in with your Google account (via Firebase Authentication). All vault data is stored locally on your device.

3. Account and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, MPIN, and biometric unlock. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. The app provides multiple security layers: a 6-digit MPIN, optional biometric unlock, Vault Lock, Credential Lock, screenshot and screen-record protection on sensitive screens, and an inactivity cooldown that automatically re-locks the app after a period of inactivity. If you forget your MPIN, you can reset it by confirming the fingerprint enrolled on your device; if no fingerprint is available, you can sign back in with your account instead.

4. Vault Data

All data you save in iRemember—items, notes, bank cards, credentials, personal contacts, Wi-Fi networks, documents, photos, and history—is stored locally on your device. iRemember does not upload your vault data to cloud storage. You are solely responsible for your vault data, including backing it up if needed.

5. Encrypted Documents

Documents you save in iRemember are encrypted and copied into the app’s private storage. You are responsible for keeping the original documents. iRemember stores encrypted copies as a convenience; these copies are deleted when you remove the document record or uninstall the app.

6. Inactivity Cooldown

iRemember enforces an inactivity cooldown: if the app is left in the background for longer than the cooldown threshold, you must re-enter your MPIN to continue. This is a security feature to protect your vault data if you leave your device unattended.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to use iRemember lawfully and for personal organization only. You will not:

  • Store illegal content or use the app to harm others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code.
  • Use the app for commercial purposes without authorization.
  • Share your MPIN or biometric access with unauthorized persons.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality.

8. Intellectual Property

iRemember and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

iRemember is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

10. Limitation of Liability

The developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the app.

11. Data Loss and Uninstall

Uninstalling iRemember permanently deletes all local data. This data cannot be recovered because it is not synced to cloud storage. You are responsible for backing up any data before uninstalling.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time. Local data is not automatically deleted upon termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer operates.

15. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact the developer at pmclab.dev@gmail.com or on Google Play.
